Dubai's IFZA Strengthens Global Presence With New Office In Germany

IFZA, Dubai's most dynamic free zone community, has recently marked a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy by inaugurating a new office in Frankfurt, Germany. This strategic move is aimed at bolstering the already strong business and trade relations between the United Arab Emirates and Germany. The opening ceremony was graced by notable figures including Khalfan Al Matrooshi, Deputy Head of Mission at the UAE Embassy in Berlin, IFZA's CEO Jochen Knecht, and several eminent German business leaders.

The establishment of IFZA's Frankfurt office is a testament to the organization's commitment to fostering international trade relations. By having a physical presence in Germany, IFZA aims to provide comprehensive support to German companies looking to forge trade links with Dubai. This initiative not only strengthens bilateral business ties but also facilitates direct engagement with entrepreneurs, investors, and potential partners in Germany.

Jochen Knecht, CEO of IFZA, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating that the German office is pivotal for nurturing meaningful relationships and driving investment towards the UAE. The office will play a crucial role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises from Germany in their endeavors to establish a foothold in Dubai. Furthermore, it will act as a bridge, sharing valuable investment intelligence and connecting businesses with suitable partners.

The World Investment Report 2023 highlights the UAE's leading position in the MENA region, with a 32.4% share of total FDI inflows amounting to US$70.2 billion. IFZA leverages the UAE's strategic location and world-class infrastructure to attract international investors, thereby contributing significantly to the country's economic landscape.

IFZA's global footprint extends beyond Frankfurt, with successful operations in Spain, Switzerland, and China. The company prides itself on a network of over 1,500 authorized partners and consultants worldwide, adept at guiding business owners in alignment with the 'IFZA Way'. This multinational approach is further enriched by IFZA's multilingual staff, representing more than 50 nationalities.

In line with its ambitious expansion plans, IFZA aims to establish additional offices in Austria, the UK, India, Africa, and Latin America within the year. This expansion underscores IFZA's commitment to enhancing economic cooperation and fostering global trade relationships.
