International Family Medicine Conference 2025 Concludes In Dubai, Sets Stage For Future With DUPHAT Partnership

The 12th International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition (IFM 2025) concluded in Dubai, featuring 50 top brands from the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Over three days, more than 45 expert speakers and 120 poster presentations were showcased. The event catered to family medicine practitioners, general practitioners, and healthcare professionals, offering specialised sessions on advanced topics like gut health, genetics in family medicine, and artificial intelligence in diagnostics.

Next year’s conference will focus on critical topics such as mental health, microbiology, and gut health. These areas are vital for advancing family medicine and improving patient care. Sessions will provide practical insights and evidence-based approaches for healthcare professionals to tackle these challenges effectively.

IFM 2025 Concludes in Dubai with DUPHAT

This year's conference highlighted mental health as a key public health pillar. It emphasised the need to integrate mental wellbeing into family medicine due to its growing global importance. The upcoming edition aims to further develop primary healthcare systems by promoting knowledge exchange among professionals and fostering collaboration across institutions.

Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of IFM, stated that the 2026 edition will be held with DUPHAT. He said, "The 2026 edition of the International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition will be held in partnership with DUPHAT, reflecting our ongoing commitment to advancing the field of family medicine across the region."

DUPHAT 2026 is scheduled for next March with a theme titled "Reformulating The Future of Pharma." This event will feature five segments: Pharma, Parapharma, Vitashow, TECH, and Startups. For the first time, it will host the VITASHOW Nutrition Conference focusing on clinical and applied nutrition.

Dr Ibtesam AL Bastaki, Scientific Chair of IFM Scientific Committee, remarked on the importance of family medicine in community health. She noted that IFM 2025 highlighted areas like mental health and gut health. The next edition aims to enhance practitioners' skills in primary healthcare for a healthier community.
