IACAD's AED 1 Million Contribution To Fathers' Endowment Campaign Supports Healthcare For Needy Families
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has pledged AED1 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to create a sustainable healthcare endowment for the underprivileged. The campaign aligns with Ramadan, promoting values of honouring parents and community solidarity.
The Fathers' Endowment campaign is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). It seeks to instil values like generosity and humanitarian solidarity within Emirati society. The campaign also emphasises charitable endowments as a means to support global humanitarian efforts.

Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Director-General of IACAD, highlighted the department's dedication to community initiatives. He stated that their contribution reflects a commitment to fostering generosity and solidarity. Al-Muhairi noted that fathers play an essential role in nurturing future generations and instilling noble values.
Al-Muhairi expressed, "Fathers are the cornerstones of families and society, and their role in nurturing future generations and instilling noble values is immeasurable. Recognising this vital role, IACAD is contributing to the campaign, dedicating this endowment to the fathers of our employees and all contributors to the campaign, acknowledging their efforts and contributions in building generations capable of pursuing goodness and prosperity."
The campaign encourages donations from both individuals and institutions through various channels. Contributions can be made via the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae) or by calling the toll-free number (800 4999). Bank transfers in UAE dirham are accepted through Emirates Islamic Bank using IBAN: AE020340003518492868201.
SMS donations are available for Etisalat by e& and du users by sending "Father" to specific numbers: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500. Other platforms include the DubaiNow app under "Donations" and Dubai’s Jood platform (Jood.ae).
The initiative aims to provide healthcare access to underserved communities globally. It supports a dignified life while reinforcing the UAE's leadership in regional humanitarian efforts. The campaign continues welcoming contributions from diverse sources.
Al-Muhairi added that this initiative during Ramadan expresses gratitude towards those who have passed away while praying for long life for those still with us. He hopes this contribution acts as lasting charity on behalf of fathers, bringing blessings to all involved.
