UAE's H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Directs Dispatch Of 410 Tonnes Of Humanitarian Aid To Gaza In Ramadan
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the delivery of 410 tonnes of urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza during Ramadan. This initiative is closely monitored by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.
The second phase of aid for Gaza is part of the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. This operation aims to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Gazans, involving four key charitable organisations in Ajman: Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, International Charity Organisation, Al Ihsan Charity Association, and Al Etihad Charity Foundation.
The relief convoy includes essential food supplies, hygiene kits, and other necessities. These are intended to alleviate the suffering of families in Gaza as winter conditions worsen. The aid is crucial in supporting those affected by the ongoing crisis.
Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Al Ihsan Charity Association, highlighted that their organisation has sent a convoy carrying food and essential supplies to support Palestinians facing difficult humanitarian conditions. "This initiative reflects the UAE’s spirit of generosity and commitment to humanitarian efforts," he stated.
Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, CEO of Al Etihad Charity Foundation, remarked: "This initiative embodies the UAE’s deep-rooted humanitarian approach, established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan." He emphasised that generosity and relief efforts are core values of the nation's policy.
Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organisation, stated: "The air and sea bridge established by the UAE serves as a lifeline for thousands of affected families in Gaza." He noted that it reflects immense generosity in supporting those in need during challenging times.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3
Tariq Al Awadhi, Director-General of the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, mentioned that UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has significantly eased hardships faced by Gaza’s residents. It has provided essential needs and reduced suffering among vulnerable groups.
This initiative strengthens the UAE's position as a leading supporter of humanitarian causes. It reinforces values of generosity and solidarity with communities affected by crises worldwide.
