Humaid Bin Rashid Reviews Key Findings Of Household Income And Expenditure Survey In Ajman For 2024
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, along with H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, examined the findings of the Household Income and Expenditure Survey for 2024 and early 2025. This was presented by the Ajman Statistics Centre.
The survey's primary goal is to gather precise data on income and spending habits in Ajman. This information aids policymakers in crafting balanced development strategies to enhance living standards and quality of life for families in the emirate over the coming years.
The presentation by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director-General of the Ajman Statistics Centre, offered a detailed analysis of the survey results. It covered aspects like quality of life, social well-being, economic conditions, education spending, health sector investments, and family self-sufficiency levels.
In addition to demographic insights, the survey highlighted living standards, income sources, daily expenses, and family classifications. It also addressed special needs among Emirati families and suggested ways to encourage saving and financial investment.
The survey concluded with recommendations to bolster social support systems by empowering low-income families to meet their basic needs. Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Humaid reviewed the Marriage and Divorce Report for 2024 and early 2025. The report indicated a rise in marriage contracts alongside a decrease in divorce rates, suggesting improved family stability within the community.
