Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation Delivers 375 Tonnes Of Ramadan Food Aid To Gaza Strip Families
The UAE has dispatched 375 tonnes of Ramadan food aid and sanitary supplies to assist 15,000 families in the Gaza Strip. This effort, part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," was led by the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation and the International Charity Organisation. The initiative aligns with the UAE's dedication to humanitarian support for Palestinians.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, highlighted the UAE's ongoing commitment to aiding Gaza. This is in line with directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and continues the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. "This initiative embodies the enduring UAE values of humanitarian solidarity," he stated.
Sheikh Ammar also noted H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi's active involvement in supporting Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The Emirate of Ajman plays a leading role in humanitarian efforts, working closely with various charitable organisations across the country.
Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organisation, emphasised that this initiative aligns with leadership directives and highlights UAE’s commitment to its brethren during Ramadan. He remarked on how these efforts reflect values instilled by Emirati founding fathers.
"The participation of the International Charity Organisation in Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 reflects the values of solidarity and cohesion instilled by the founding fathers in the Emirati approach to humanitarian work," he added. The aid serves as a message of love and hope from UAE citizens to those in Gaza.
Comprehensive Aid Package
The first phase of an air and sea convoy has been launched with coordination from relevant authorities and partners. The total value of this aid reaches AED 14 million, including food, health packages, medical supplies, first-aid kits, and essentials for women and children. These efforts aim to ease hardships faced by affected families during Ramadan.
This operation is among several significant Emirati initiatives providing urgent relief worldwide. It underscores UAE’s dedication to sustainable humanitarian practices rooted in generosity and solidarity with those in need.
