Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Commemorates UAE Heroes At Ceremony In Abu Dhabi
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, attended the Commemoration Day ceremony at Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi. The event was also graced by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs.
The ceremony honoured the sacrifices of the UAE's heroes. Fighter jets flew in formation to create the shape of the Unknown Soldier, symbolising respect for those who gave their lives for the nation. Sheikh Humaid laid a wreath at the monument and presented the Martyr's Medal to families of fallen heroes.
Among those present were H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
Also attending were H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO); Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; and Major General Staff Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
The event saw participation from numerous Sheikhs, ministers, high-ranking officials, top brass, families of martyrs, diplomats accredited to the country, and other guests. This gathering highlighted the nation's collective respect and gratitude towards its heroes.
The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of the bravery and dedication shown by those who have sacrificed their lives for the safety and security of the UAE. It underscored a deep sense of national pride and unity among attendees.
