HRH Crown Prince's Sport Minister Represents Saudi Arabia At Formula 1 Stc Grand Prix 2025
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal represented His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Formula 1 stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The event, part of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, marked its fifth consecutive year in Saudi Arabia. The race attracted numerous dignitaries, including Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal and other notable officials.
The thrilling race concluded with Australian driver Oscar Piastri from McLaren taking first place. Max Verstappen from Red Bull secured second, finishing 2.843 seconds behind Piastri. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari claimed third, trailing by 8.104 seconds. Thousands of fans witnessed the event, which received extensive media coverage both locally and internationally.

At the end of the race, Prince Abdulaziz crowned Oscar Piastri as the winner. Prince Khalid bin Sultan awarded Max Verstappen for his second-place finish. Yasir Al-Rumayyan presented Charles Leclerc with his third-place accolade. Additionally, McLaren received recognition for their victory in this round from Prince Mohammed bin Khalid.

Lando Norris from McLaren finished fourth in the standings, followed by George Russell of Mercedes in fifth place. Italian driver Kimi Antonelli also from Mercedes secured sixth position. Lewis Hamilton driving for Ferrari came seventh, while Carlos Sainz representing Williams took eighth place.
Alexander Albon also from Williams finished ninth, and Isack Hadjar from Racing Bulls rounded out the top ten positions. These results showcased a competitive field with drivers from various teams performing admirably throughout the race.
