Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Hosts King Abdullah II Of Jordan To Discuss Regional Cooperation
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. The king expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation. During their meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
The discussions also covered issues affecting the Arab and Islamic worlds, focusing on regional security and stability. They talked about efforts to achieve ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon and reduce tensions in the region. Both leaders emphasized their unwavering support for Palestine and Lebanon, highlighting the importance of continuous humanitarian aid to ease suffering.

Prince Mohammed conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to King Abdullah II. In response, King Abdullah sent his greetings to King Salman. This exchange underscored the strong brotherly relations between the two nations.

On the Saudi side were Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, among others. The Jordanian delegation included Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi.
