HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Welcomes German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier For Official Talks

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, welcomed German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace, Riyadh. The Crown Prince expressed his pleasure in hosting President Steinmeier and his delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom. The German president thanked him for the warm reception and hospitality.

The meeting between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation. They also addressed regional and international developments, discussing efforts to tackle key issues affecting both nations. This dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing global challenges.

Several senior Saudi officials were present during this significant meeting. Among them were Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz. Other notable attendees included Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal and Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.

Additional Saudi officials attending included Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. Also present were Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and National Security Advisor, Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce, Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, and Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment.

The German delegation was led by Katja Kuehl, a member of the Federal Parliament and Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office. Accompanying her was Michael Kindsgrab, the German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, along with other officials who contributed to discussions aimed at fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.

This high-level meeting highlighted the commitment of both nations to deepen their partnership through dialogue on various fronts. By addressing pressing regional and international matters together, they aim to strengthen ties that benefit both countries economically and politically.
