HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman And Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni Meet To Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed Giorgia Meloni, the Prime Minister of Italy, at the Winter Camp in AlUla. Upon her arrival, Meloni was greeted by princes and senior officials, while HRH the Crown Prince met with the official Italian delegation. The reception included traditional Saudi folk performances to mark the occasion.

During their meeting at Bayt al-sha'ar, discussions focused on enhancing Saudi-Italian relations. They explored opportunities for cooperation across various sectors and addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest. Meloni expressed her pleasure in visiting Saudi Arabia and meeting with HRH the Crown Prince.

Following their discussions, an agreement was signed to establish the Saudi-Italian Strategic Partnership Council. This move aims to strengthen ties between the two nations. The council will focus on fostering collaboration in diverse fields, enhancing bilateral relations further.

The reception saw attendance from several notable figures. These included Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi Ambassador to Italy Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz. Other attendees were Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Minister of State Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz.

The event also included Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal. Additionally, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor of Aseer Region Prince Khalid bin Sattam were present.

Representing Italy were several key figures such as Italian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Carlo Baldocci and Diplomatic Advisor Fabrizio Saggio. Military Advisor General Franco Federici was also part of the Italian delegation along with other senior officials.

The gathering highlighted cultural exchanges as Meloni explored Saudi Arabia's rich heritage during her visit. This cultural engagement underscores the importance both nations place on understanding each other's traditions and values.
