HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Hosts Indonesia’s President For Key Talks And Coordination Council Meeting

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. The meeting on Wednesday included a formal reception ceremony for the visiting president. During their official talks, HRH the Crown Prince expressed his pleasure in hosting President Subianto in the Kingdom.

The discussions between HRH the Crown Prince and President Subianto focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation. They also addressed regional and international developments, as well as mutual concerns. Both leaders co-chaired the inaugural meeting of the Saudi-Indonesian Supreme Coordination Council, where they signed its minutes.

Crown Prince Meets Indonesia’s President in Jeddah

The meeting of the Saudi-Indonesian Supreme Coordination Council covered several key issues with council members present. This session aimed to enhance collaboration between the two nations across various sectors. The gathering underscored the commitment of both countries to work closely on shared interests.

Among those attending from Saudi Arabia were several high-ranking officials, including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. Other notable attendees included Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

The Indonesian delegation included Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono. Also present were Dr. Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Investment and Industry. These officials participated actively in discussions to further bilateral ties.

Additional Indonesian representatives included Mochamad Irfan Yusuf, Head of the Hajj Affairs Agency, and Teddy Indra Wijaya, Secretary of the Cabinet. The presence of these officials highlighted Indonesia's commitment to fostering strong relations with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Faisal Al-Amudi was also among those attending the talks. His participation emphasized the importance placed on diplomatic relations between the two countries.

This significant meeting marked a step forward in enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Both nations are keen to address shared challenges while building on their longstanding friendship.
