HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman And Egyptian President El-Sisi Hold Official Talks On Strengthening Bilateral Relations

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, arrived in Cairo for an official visit. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, he was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The two leaders then proceeded to Al-Ittihadiya Palace in an official motorcade for a formal reception ceremony.

During the reception at the palace, HRH the Crown Prince met with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and other senior officials. President El-Sisi also extended his welcome to the Saudi delegation. The meeting between HRH the Crown Prince and President El-Sisi focused on strategic issues of mutual interest.

Crown Prince and Egyptian President Hold Talks

The discussions included a review of the strategic bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, exploring ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. They also addressed topics concerning the Arab and Islamic regions, as well as developments in the Middle East, particularly efforts to ensure regional security and stability.

HRH the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President El-Sisi. The Egyptian president expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia's ongoing support and collaboration. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to strengthening ties between their countries.

The expanded discussion session was attended by several high-ranking officials from both countries. On the Saudi side, participants included Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; and Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, among others.

Representing Egypt were Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly; Head of the General Intelligence Service Major General Abbas Kamel; and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Badr Abdelatty, along with other key figures such as Minister of Electricity Dr. Mahmoud Esmat and Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farouk.

Signing Key Agreements

HRH Crown Prince and President El-Sisi witnessed the signing of significant agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation between their nations. A supreme coordination council was established, co-chaired by both leaders, with an agreement signed by Foreign Ministers Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Dr. Badr Abdelatty.

An agreement focusing on fostering mutual investments was also signed by Saudi Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih and Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib. These agreements are expected to bolster economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

President El-Sisi hosted an official lunch in honour of HRH Crown Prince before his departure from Cairo. The visit concluded with President El-Sisi bidding farewell to HRH Crown Prince at Cairo International Airport.
