Hotel Show 2024 To Spotlight Technology, Sustainability, And Wellness In Hospitality
The Hotel Show 2024 is set to become a prominent global hospitality event, with organisers dmg events confirming participation from 28 countries. The event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 4th to 6th June. This year’s national pavilions represent the largest in the event’s two-decade history, featuring top participants such as Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Turkiye, the UAE, and newcomer Poland.
The Hotel Show 2024 will spotlight technology, sustainability, and wellness in enhancing guest experiences. Elaine O’Connell, Vice President of the Design and Hospitality Portfolio at dmg events, noted that the show would reflect the transformation in hospitality technology driven by increasing guest expectations for wellness trends and net-zero hospitality practices.

An industry survey for The Hotel Show report indicates that 81 percent of hoteliers view technology as crucial for business success over the next five years. Additionally, 73 percent of guests prefer hotels offering self-service technology to minimise contact with staff and other guests.
The report also highlights that 73 percent of surveyed guests are now planning vacations focused on improving their physical and emotional health. This trend is reflected in a projected 12.42 percent compound annual growth rate in the global wellness tourism market through 2030.
Industry Conferences and Expert Insights
The event will feature four key conferences: The Hospitality Leadership and F&B Forum, HITEC Dubai, UAE Professional Housekeepers Group Meeting, and THEME – The Hospitality Engineers Middle East Annual Conference. Over 100 industry experts will delve into prevailing hospitality trends during these sessions.
Leisure Show Highlights
Co-located with The Hotel Show, the Leisure Show will serve as an international forum with confirmed country pavilions from Germany, Italy, the UAE, and Turkiye. This year’s focus will be on transforming wellness and fitness spaces through product innovation, design, and technology across sports and fitness, wellness and spa, as well as recreation and adventure segments.
Sixteen industry visionaries will speak at the Leisure and Wellness conference to discuss the shift towards wellness-centric travel choices in UAE tourism. "Event attendees will explore how travellers are prioritising year-round well-being and how the UAE is positioning itself as a leading wellness destination," commented O’Connell.
The Leisure Show will feature over 40 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 1,000 industry-specific visitors.
