Honeywell And Global Aerospace Logistics Partner To Streamline Defence Repairs For UAE Military

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies has entered a three-year partnership with Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL) to enhance repair and overhaul services for the United Arab Emirates’ Joint Aviation Command (JAC) and Air Force and Air Defence (AFAD). This collaboration aims to improve support for Honeywell’s T55 turboshaft engines and environmental control systems, ensuring faster component shipping and reduced turnaround times.

GAL will oversee the entire logistics process for UAE customers, from selecting the best Honeywell repair facility to managing shipping and maintaining full repair visibility. This approach ensures that customers continue to benefit from Honeywell’s parts and repair services, now enhanced by a streamlined regional logistics model. This model is designed to reduce downtime and boost mission-readiness for the UAE military fleet.

The agreement between Honeywell and GAL strengthens their decade-long relationship, highlighting their shared commitment to providing localised, high-performance support for defence operators in the UAE. By leveraging GAL’s extensive logistics expertise, the partnership aims to deliver faster turnaround times and improved visibility for critical platform support.
