Oman Declares Holiday For National Day Celebrations

The Sultanate of Oman is set to observe an official holiday for its National Day, as confirmed by the Oman News Agency (ONA). In a recent announcement, a Royal Decree was issued that employees across various sectors, including those working in the state's administrative units other legal entities, and the private, will be granted off on Wednesday and Thursday, November 20 and 21, 2024.

This decree allows for the possibility of work on these designated holidays if deemed necessary, with the stipulation that will receive compensation in line with existing regulations.
