His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has announced the formation of a "Higher Commission for Hosting the 2034 World Cup." This follows FIFA's decision to award Saudi Arabia the hosting rights for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. HRH the Crown Prince will lead the Board of Directors of this new commission.
The board includes several key figures: Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. Other members are Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, Majed Al-Hogail, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Abdullah Alswaha, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Saleh Al-Jasser, Ahmed Al Khateeb, Fahad Al-Jalajel, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Turki Alalshikh, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Dr. Fahad Toonsi, Abdulaziz Tarabzouni, and Yasser Al Misehal.
