KFSHRC CEO Advocates Healthcare Investment

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Health Sector Transformation Program aims to shift healthcare from a public expense to a catalyst for innovation and economic growth. KFSHRC plays a key role in this transformation by achieving milestones like the first fully robotic heart transplant and pioneering CAR T-cell therapy.

KFSHRC was established over 50 years ago to reduce dependence on overseas treatment. Today, it leads advancements in genomic research, gene and cell therapy, regenerative medicine, and sustainable care models.

Al Fayyadh invited Japanese stakeholders and global partners to collaborate with Saudi Arabia in co-developing research, sharing technologies, and shaping integrated healthcare's future. The summit underscored the Kingdom’s openness to investments and partnerships that drive innovation for humanity's benefit.

In his closing remarks, Al Fayyadh stated: "The future of healthcare will be defined by integration, modernization, and collaboration. By redefining healthcare as an investment, we are building not only resilient national systems but also a stronger and healthier global community."
