Health Ministry Signs 126 Local And Global Agreements During Global Health Exhibition 2025

The Ministry of Health, under the leadership of Minister Fahad AlJalajel and Vice Minister Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, has signed 126 agreements at the Global Health Exhibition 2025. These agreements aim to support the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key initiative of Saudi Vision 2030. This program focuses on fostering a vibrant society and thriving economy through sustainable health innovation and investment.

These agreements span various sectors, including innovation, scientific research, and healthcare service development. A significant agreement involves the Saudi Health Council, King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and King Saud University. They plan to establish a specialized center dedicated to studying and treating sudden death causes.

Health Ministry Signs Agreements at Exhibition

The exhibition is an essential platform for sharing expertise and showcasing medical innovations. It highlights Saudi Arabia's role as a global leader in health innovation and investment. The event reflects the significant transformation occurring in the country's healthcare sector, which is recognized as the largest worldwide.

The Global Health Exhibition 2025 has earned recognition as the Best International Exhibition in the Middle East and Africa by the AEO Awards. The event attracts over 2,000 international organizations and features 500 speakers from more than 130 countries. It provides healthcare professionals with opportunities for scientific growth through numerous discussion sessions.

Among other notable agreements is a memorandum of understanding between the Health Holding Company and Alinma Bank. Additionally, there is an agreement between the Ministry of Health and Abbott, a global healthcare technology company. These collaborations are part of broader efforts to enhance healthcare services in Saudi Arabia.

Educational Opportunities

The exhibition offers over 100 discussion sessions and 110 hours of continuing medical education accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for professional development for healthcare workers attending the event.
