HCT Chancellor Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi Celebrates Graduation Of 1,668 Students From Abu Dhabi, Al Ain And Al Dhafra Campuses
Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), attended a graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 at HCT’s Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra campuses. The event, themed "HCTians Go Beyond," celebrated 1,668 graduates. Among them, 117 were honoured for achieving Distinction and Distinction with Honors.
Graduates received Applied Bachelor’s degrees and Vocational Diplomas in fields such as Engineering Technology and Science, Business, Applied Media, Health Sciences, Computer Information Science, and Education. Dr. Al Falasi presented certificates and joined graduates for a commemorative photo. He expressed pride in their achievements and wished them success in their future careers.

Dr. Al Falasi highlighted the UAE's applied education system as a key driver of a knowledge-based economy. He emphasised HCT's commitment to aligning academic disciplines with labour market needs. This approach prepares graduates to innovate and lead entrepreneurial ventures in line with ‘We the UAE 2031’ and ‘UAE Centennial 2071’ visions.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO; Dr. Ahmad Alawar, Executive Director of HCT–Abu Dhabi Campuses; Dr. Yousof Alhammadi, Executive Director of HCT–Al Ain Campuses; Eng. Abdu Rahman Al Jahoushi, Executive Director of HCT–Al Dhafra Campuses; alongside senior officials, strategic partners, faculty and administrative staff, and the graduates’ parents and families.
Dr. Faisal Alayyan delivered a speech on behalf of the HCT Board of Trustees. He expressed gratitude to the UAE’s leadership for its unwavering support, describing it as crucial to HCT’s success. He praised their guidance for steering the nation towards global excellence by placing youth at the centre of progress.
Dr. Alayyan also announced the official graduation of 1,668 students from HCT-Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra campuses who completed their studies successfully. He highlighted HCT’s strategic vision to enhance graduate employability through industry partnerships while adapting to workforce changes.
Pride in Achievements
The graduates expressed pride in their accomplishments and readiness to contribute to national development. They thanked UAE leadership and their families for support that paved their way to success. The ceremony also honoured parents of top achievers with the "Sash of Pride" for supporting their children's academic excellence.
The event underscored the importance of collaboration between education institutions and industry partners in preparing students for future challenges. It highlighted how strategic planning can ensure that educational offerings remain relevant to evolving economic needs.
