Hazza Bin Zayed Acknowledges Winners Of Khalifa Award For Education From Al Ain Region

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, recently welcomed the winners of the Khalifa Award for Education 2025 from Al Ain Region. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Humaid Al Houti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education. His Highness congratulated the winners, praising their innovative contributions to education.

During this gathering, H.H. Sheikh Hazza received a comprehensive overview of the award's development and objectives from the Secretary-General. The award encompasses 10 main fields distributed across 17 categories, showcasing its broad approach to supporting education. This diversity highlights its commitment to fostering educational excellence.

The Khalifa Award for Education serves as a national platform recognising excellence in education and teaching. H.H. Sheikh Hazza emphasised its importance in promoting innovation across various educational levels. Winners presented their recognised projects and initiatives during the meeting, highlighting their impact on advancing education in both Al Ain Region and across the UAE. These initiatives reflect a spirit of progress within the educational system, showcasing outstanding talents and pioneering projects.

The list of winners included distinguished educators and representatives from various institutions in Al Ain Region. Among them were Mohamed Elsayed Abdulwahab Tarabai from Al Qoua C2 School and Dr Omar Husein Al Naoursi from the Institute of Applied Technology – Tahnoun bin Mohammed Educational Complex under the Creative Teacher Category.

Other notable winners included Mohammed bin Khalid School for Basic Education, represented by Fatima Rashid Al-Neyadi, and Al-Tomouh School, represented by Noura Abdullah Al-Dhaheri under the Institutional Education Performance Category. Additionally, Mahra Masoud Al Nuaimi from Alhosoon Charter School was recognised under the Innovative Teacher Category.

Encouraging Future Educational Progress

H.H. Sheikh Hazza highlighted that honouring such role models strengthens a culture of excellence and motivates further advancement in educational practices. This aligns with UAE’s aspirations and leadership’s strategic vision for nurturing national talents and competencies.

The award also acknowledges institutions like the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center, represented by Mariam Hamad Obaid Al Shamsi under the Institutions Category. Professors Fathalla Ali Fathalla Rihan, Zafar Saeed Nadar Sheir, and Riyad Aly Mohammed Eid from United Arab Emirates University were recognised under the Distinguished University Lecturer Category.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza underscored the pivotal role played by both the Khalifa Award for Education and its Board Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their efforts showcase talents that reflect excellence within education, aligning with UAE’s future strategic vision.
