Hazza Bin Zayed Celebrates Marriage Of 181 Grooms At Group Wedding Reception In Al Ain Region
Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a group wedding at Al Jahili Fort. The event celebrated the marriages of 181 grooms from Al Ain Region. Several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, were present alongside senior officials and well-wishers.
The group wedding was part of the UAE’s Eid Al Etihad celebrations and aligned with the Year of the Family in 2026. This initiative highlights the importance of Emirati family values in building a resilient society. The event was organised by Majalis Abu Dhabi in collaboration with various government entities, featuring traditional performances, poetry recitals, and an aerial show.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza extended warm congratulations to the newlyweds and their families, wishing them happiness and prosperity. He emphasised the importance of nurturing strong families that contribute to a stable society. His Highness also expressed gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed for his support of this social initiative, highlighting his commitment to empowering Emirati youth.

The newlyweds expressed their gratitude to the UAE President for his generous patronage and to H.H. Sheikh Hazza for attending the celebration. Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, praised the UAE leadership for its continuous support for youth. He noted that initiatives like Medeem and Numou play crucial roles in fostering family stability according to Emirati values. These programmes aim to alleviate financial burdens associated with marriage.
Dr Al Khaili highlighted that strong families are fundamental to societal wellbeing and national progress. He stressed that cohesive communities are essential for contributing to national development and advancing towards a brighter future.
