Hasher Bin Maktoum Officially Inaugurates CABSAT And Integrate Middle East Events In Dubai
H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, inaugurated the 31st CABSAT edition, the first SATExpo Middle East, and the third Integrate Middle East at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). These events, organised by DWTC, focus on content creation, satellite management, and Pro AV industries from May 13 to 15, 2025.
H.H. Sheikh Hasher explored various industry pavilions and exhibitor stands during his visit. He was accompanied by Abdul Rahman Obaid Abu Al Shawareb, Executive Vice President of Protocol and Security at DWTC. They met exhibitors like Ross Video, Live Media, and Panasonic at CABSAT and Integrate Middle East. His Highness also visited ArabSat, Nilesat, and Eutelsat stands at SATExpo Middle East.
CABSAT 2025 is expected to attract over 18,000 visitors. Meanwhile, SATExpo Middle East anticipates hosting more than 8,000 guests. Integrate Middle East is set to welcome around 10,000 attendees. Across three days, CABSAT will feature over 700 exhibiting brands from more than 120 countries.
The event will host discussions led by 150 globally renowned speakers and industry specialists at the Content Congress. The exhibition provides networking opportunities through platforms like the Co-Production Salon for exploring Arabic content creation prospects.
Visitors can tour Dubai Studio City's world-class production facilities during CABSAT. As a strategic partner of CABSAT 2025, Dubai Studio City offers the largest soundstage in the region and the biggest water tank in MENA. It also features boutique studios and recording facilities.
Majed Al Suwaidi commented on Dubai Studio City's role as a strategic partner: "Innovation is rewriting the future of the global media industry... At this year’s edition of CABSAT, we will look to further empower global talent and champion groundbreaking media innovation that supports the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Creative Economy Strategy."
SATExpo Summit Highlights
The inaugural SATExpo Middle East welcomes major industry players like Intelsat (USA), Arabsat (KSA), Nilesat (Egypt), Eutelsat (France), Eshailsat (Qatar), Gulfsat (Kuwait), and Neo Space Group (KSA). The SATExpo Summit features notable speakers such as Prof. Dr. Klaus Schilling discussing space industry responsibility in Earth observation.
Prof. Sherif Sedky will participate in a fireside chat to discuss space agencies' roles in empowering SMEs and promoting inclusivity within the space sector. This segment aims to highlight significant contributions from space agencies worldwide.
Integrate Middle East: A Unique Platform
Integrate Middle East 2025 runs alongside CABSAT as a unique platform for Pro AV and system integration tech leaders with buyers from various sectors. The event showcases over 700 brands from more than 75 countries featuring innovations in Pro AV products and solutions.
