Hamdan Bin Zayed Attends Largest Abu Dhabi International Boat Show In History
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, attended the sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2024. This year's event is the largest since its start in 2018, drawing significant local and international interest from top global companies in yachts, boats, fishing gear, and marine sports.
During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan explored various exhibition stands showcasing key products and technologies, some debuting in the Middle East. He interacted with senior officials and executives from local, Gulf, and international companies who expressed their enthusiasm for participating in the show. They highlighted the progress made in this edition and praised national industries' advanced capabilities.
Sheikh Hamdan praised ADNEC Group's Emirati professionals for enhancing the exhibition's competitiveness and attracting leading global brands. He stated: "This event reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing position as a global hub for the yacht, boat and marine sports industries. It also highlights the exceptional opportunities the emirate offers to support the marine sector and promote leisure tourism."
The show not only fosters strategic partnerships but also facilitates technology transfer to the UAE. It plays a crucial role in showcasing Abu Dhabi’s maritime heritage, contributing to preserving national assets for future generations. This aligns with the aspirations of the country's wise leadership.
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is organised by ADNEC Group and runs over four days until 24 November at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. The event features a programme of marine activities and sports, highlighting innovations in marine lifestyles.
