Hamdan Bin Mohammed Begins Official Visit To Uzbekistan To Strengthen Bilateral Relations

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has begun an official visit to Uzbekistan. Upon his arrival in Tashkent, he was greeted by Jamshid Khodjaev, Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister; Lieutenant General Kurbanov Bakhodir Nizomovich, the Minister of Defence; and other senior officials.

During this visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan is set to engage with Uzbekistan's top leadership. He will also participate in the UAE-Uzbekistan Government Knowledge Exchange Retreat in Tashkent. This event will include ministerial dialogues and discussions aimed at launching strategic initiatives and projects to seize future opportunities.

The group includes Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence; and Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri.

These officials are expected to contribute significantly to discussions during the retreat. Their presence underscores the importance placed on enhancing bilateral ties through collaborative efforts.
