Hamdan Bin Mohammed Directs Launch Of Dubai PropTech Hub To Accelerate Real Estate Innovation
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, led a meeting of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy. He announced the launch of The Dubai PropTech Hub to boost the PropTech market in Dubai. This initiative aims to more than double the market's value to over AED4.5 billion within five years, aligning with Dubai's economic goals.
The Dubai PropTech Hub is designed to accelerate growth in property technology by embracing advanced digital solutions. This aligns with the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aim to double the economy and position Dubai among the top three global cities within a decade.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that under Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's leadership, Dubai has become a hub for high-value investments and talent. The real estate sector exemplifies this balance between sustainable development and digital transformation, preparing for future challenges.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan reviewed a report detailing past project outcomes, ongoing initiatives, and new proposals. These efforts focus on fostering innovation and accelerating digital enterprise growth within an integrated economic environment.
Dubai's digital economy is now a reality, supported by flexible legal frameworks and advanced infrastructure. Integrating sectors like real estate with emerging digital platforms is crucial for sustainable growth and achieving economic goals.
The PropTech Hub aims to attract over AED1 billion in investments by 2030, supporting more than 200 companies and drawing 20 investment funds. It offers a comprehensive ecosystem with incubators, workspaces, and smart areas for collaboration.

The Hub provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for developing AI-driven business models. It supports startups through advanced incubators and interactive workspaces that encourage collaboration and innovation.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that adopting new technologies is essential for creating a business environment ready for future growth in a competitive world. This approach strengthens Dubai’s PropTech sector and enhances its global competitiveness.
Committee Meeting Highlights
The meeting also covered progress on major digital initiatives like the "5,000 Digital Talents" program aimed at placing students in top tech firms globally. Results from the previous Expand North Star event were discussed along with preparations for its next edition.
The IGNITE platform was also reviewed during the meeting. Launched recently, it connects founders with investors, mentors, corporate organisations, and government entities worldwide to create a comprehensive growth ecosystem.
The meeting included key figures such as Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence; Helal Saeed Al Marri from Dubai Department of Economy; Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori from Dubai Digital Authority; Khalfan Belhoul from Dubai Future Foundation; Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita from Dubai Municipality; Malek Al Malek from TECOM Group; Arif Amiri from DIFC; and Hasher bin Dalmook as Reporter of the Committee.
