Hamdan Bin Mohammed Appoints New Chief Executive Officers At KHDA In Dubai
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has made significant appointments within the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). As Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, he issued several resolutions to appoint new Chief Executive Officers for various sectors at KHDA.
Among these appointments, Fatma Ibrahim Abdullah Belrehif has been named CEO of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Establishment. This decision was formalised through Executive Council Resolution No. (21) of 2025. Additionally, Dr. Wafi Dawood Mousa Jafar Ali has been appointed as CEO of the Strategic Development Sector under Resolution No. (22) of 2025.

Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Abdullah Nasser is now the CEO of the Institutional Support Sector at KHDA, following Executive Council Resolution No. (23) of 2025. These resolutions are effective immediately upon issuance, ensuring a swift transition in leadership roles.
In another strategic move, Dr. Amina Abdullah Ibrahim Ghuloom Al Maazmi has been transferred from the General Secretariat of The Executive Council of Dubai to become the CEO of the Human Development and Advancement Sector at KHDA. This change is outlined in Resolution No. (24) of 2025 and will take effect on 7th April 2025.
The appointment changes continue with Dr. Saeed Mubarak Khalfan Kharbash Al Marri's transfer from his role as CEO of the Arts, Design, and Literature Sector at the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority to become CEO of the Policy, Research, and Programmes Sector at KHDA. This transfer is detailed in Resolution No. (25) of 2025 and becomes effective on 14th April 2025.
All these resolutions will be officially published in the Official Gazette to ensure transparency and public awareness. These strategic appointments aim to enhance leadership within KHDA's various sectors.
