Hamad International Airport (DOH) is enhancing its transfer experience by implementing dedicated screening lanes specifically for families with young children. These dedicated lanes aim to reduce wait times at security checkpoints significantly and provide additional staff to assist families with their belongings, demonstrating the airport's commitment to a seamless travel experience.

In an effort to continuously improve and tailor the service to travelers' needs, Hamad International Airport will solicit feedback and suggestions from passengers using the dedicated family lanes. Initially tested in the transfer screening area, the initiative, based on its success, will extend to other security checkpoints across the airport, guaranteeing that families enjoy a smooth and efficient passage through DOH.

Over the years, Hamad International Airport has achieved industry-leading efficiency by significantly reducing passenger wait times at security checkpoints. The airport reports that over 95% of passengers experience less than five minutes wait time to clear security, while also enhancing security measures. Additionally, the convenience of not having to remove electronic devices and liquid containers from hand luggage at these checkpoints has contributed to a high passenger satisfaction rate of 97.2%.
