Hajj And Umrah Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah Assures Safety For Iranian Pilgrims' Departure
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, recently engaged in a phone conversation with Dr. Alireza Bayat, the head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization. During this call, Minister Al-Rabiah assured Dr. Bayat that the transfer plan for pilgrims would be executed smoothly and safely at every stage. This includes their journey from Makkah and Madinah through key airports to the Jadidat Arar land crossing.
These efforts align with directives from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and recommendations by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. The aim is to ensure all needs of Iranian pilgrims are met, providing necessary services until they safely return home. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah oversees this implementation plan, supported by a dedicated operations room monitoring pilgrim care until departure.

The first group of Iranian pilgrims left on Sunday as part of this comprehensive plan. The Ministry's operations room ensured continuous support and services for the pilgrims up to their departure moment. This initiative highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to facilitating a seamless pilgrimage experience for all participants.
Dr. Bayat expressed profound gratitude towards the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their attentive care during the pilgrims' stay in Saudi Arabia. He also acknowledged Minister Al-Rabiah's dedication and ongoing efforts to streamline procedures and ensure comfort throughout the Hajj stages.
This collaboration underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering positive relations with Iran through effective management of Hajj logistics. By prioritising safety and efficiency, both nations aim to enhance the overall pilgrimage experience for Iranian visitors.
