Hajj Ministry Reports Over 11.7 Million Umrah Performers During Rabi Al-Thani 1447 AH

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, alongside the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, reported that over 11.7 million individuals performed Umrah during Rabi Al-Thani 1447 AH. This increase is attributed to improved services and facilities for worshippers.

More than 1.5 million of these Umrah performers travelled from abroad, representing a diverse range of countries worldwide. This highlights the effectiveness of digital tools and integrated logistical services in facilitating travel and ritual performance with ease and assurance.

The rise in Umrah performers aligns with Saudi Arabia's ongoing initiatives to enhance the Hajj, Umrah, and visitation ecosystem. These efforts are part of the broader objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to improve access to the two holy mosques for Muslims globally.
