Hajj Ministry Implements Comprehensive Plan And Operations Room For Iranian Pilgrims' Well-Being

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set up a special operations room to oversee the conditions of Iranian pilgrims continuously in Makkah and Madinah. This initiative aligns with directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The aim is to ensure Iranian pilgrims receive comprehensive services until they safely return home.

The ministry's teams have conducted a detailed assessment of services provided to about 76,000 Iranian pilgrims at their accommodations. This evaluation ensures that care and high-quality services are maintained throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia. The ministry remains committed to offering continuous support to all pilgrims visiting the Kingdom.

In collaboration with relevant authorities, an integrated departure plan was developed based on requests from Iranian officials managing pilgrim affairs. This plan aims to facilitate smooth procedures and efficient transportation during all stages of departure, ensuring a seamless experience for the pilgrims.

The departure plan includes using domestic flights from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to Arar Airport. From there, pilgrims will travel overland through the Jadidat Arar border crossing to continue their journey back to Iran. The implementation of this plan began on Friday.

Teams from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah are actively providing direct assistance and full care to Iranian pilgrims. Their efforts ensure a safe and dignified departure from Saudi Arabia, reflecting the Kingdom's broader commitment to serving all pilgrims worldwide.
