Hajj Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah Meets Over 100 Officials To Urge Contract Completion Before Rajab 15, 1447 AH

The semiannual meeting led by Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, gathered over 100 officials, including ministers and grand muftis. This event took place alongside the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition. The focus was on reviewing preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season and discussing updates to procedures for serving pilgrims.

Al-Rabiah began by expressing gratitude to the Hajj offices for their cooperation in making the previous season successful. He praised those who completed contracts early this year and urged others to finish by Rajab 15, 1447 AH. This ensures readiness and quality service delivery to pilgrims.

Hajj Minister Urges Timely Contract Completion

Several key regulatory requirements were highlighted by Al-Rabiah for the upcoming period. These include finalizing camp service contracts by Rajab 15 and accommodation contracts in Makkah and Madinah by Shaban 13. Additionally, Hajj visas must be submitted before Shawwal 1, with no extensions allowed beyond this date.

Awareness campaigns will be launched in collaboration with ministries and Hajj offices to prevent unauthorized Hajj participation. A "health capability certificate" signed by office heads and medical leaders is required for visa issuance, verified through the Masar electronic platform.

All payments for sacrificial animals must be processed through official channels like the Saudi Project for the Utilization of Hady and Adahi. Unauthorized entities are strictly prohibited from handling these transactions. The Nusuk card is mandatory for entry to holy sites, including the Grand Mosque.

Administrative, medical, and media personnel data should be uploaded starting Jumada Al-Awwal 19, with submissions completed before Rajab 1. Airline selections and flight slot reservations need finalization before Rajab 15. All administrative and financial dealings are to be conducted via the Nusuk Masar platform.

Enhancing Service Efficiency

The minister emphasized that these measures aim to improve service efficiency for pilgrims while enhancing coordination with domestic and international bodies. This reflects Saudi Arabia’s leading role in serving pilgrims globally.
