Hajj Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah Meets With Hajj Services Companies Ahead Of 1446 AH Season
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah convened a meeting on Monday, led by Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah, to discuss preparations for the 1446 AH Hajj season. This gathering included various Hajj companies and took place at the ministry's headquarters in Makkah. The minister highlighted the attention given by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince to ensure the comfort of pilgrims arriving from around the world.
Al-Rabiah reviewed preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, praising the Supreme Hajj Committee's oversight. This committee is chaired by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, who also serves as Minister of Interior. The minister expressed gratitude to companies for their dedication in serving pilgrims and emphasized recognizing those excelling in service provision.

The minister stressed the importance of maintaining high-quality services for pilgrims, covering all aspects from arrival to departure. He highlighted that efforts should ensure seamless service from when pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia until they return home after completing their rituals. Continuous improvement in service quality is a priority.
Emphasizing discipline, Al-Rabiah underscored adherence to approved schedules for grouping and transportation. This ensures smooth movement between holy sites, allowing pilgrims to perform rituals with ease. He noted that this discipline contributes significantly to a peaceful pilgrimage experience.
The role of educating and training pilgrims was also highlighted by Al-Rabiah. He mentioned that informing them about carrying the Nusuk Card is crucial for accessing services throughout their journey. Coordination with ministry offices and Hajj affairs is essential in this educational effort.
Additionally, Al-Rabiah supported the "No Hajj Without a Permit" campaign. This initiative aims to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering holy sites, ensuring only permitted pilgrims participate in rituals. Such measures are vital for maintaining order during the pilgrimage season.
