Hajj And Umrah Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah Completes Official Visit To Kazakhstan To Enhance Pilgrim Services

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah recently wrapped up a three-day official visit to Kazakhstan. The trip focused on enhancing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers. During his visit, Al-Rabiah stressed the Kingdom's commitment to easing access for Kazakh citizens to the Two Holy Mosques, ensuring they can perform rituals peacefully.

The minister engaged in discussions with key figures, including Kazakhstan's Grand Mufti Nauryzbai Haji Taganuly and Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Kanat Iskakov. These meetings aimed to bolster cooperation in facilitating religious journeys for Kazakh citizens. Additionally, a Nusuk Council was held with travel and tourism representatives to showcase the "Nusuk" platform's digital services.

Minister Concludes Visit to Kazakhstan

The "Nusuk" platform offers over 100 integrated services for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. This digital initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to enhance the experience of those visiting the Two Holy Mosques. The platform's features were highlighted during discussions with Kazakh officials, emphasizing its role in enriching pilgrim experiences.

Al-Rabiah also visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where he reviewed academic programs and met with faculty members and students. Discussions centered on strengthening educational ties between the two nations and exploring ways to improve services for Kazakh pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia.

Efforts to develop infrastructure in Makkah and Madinah were also discussed during the visit. These initiatives aim to provide an exceptional spiritual experience for pilgrims from around the world. The development of more than 55 historical sites in these cities was highlighted as a key aspect of enhancing visitor experiences.

The visit underscored Saudi Arabia's dedication to international cooperation in facilitating access to the Two Holy Mosques. By improving infrastructure and digital services, the Kingdom aims to serve pilgrims better and ensure their spiritual journeys are fulfilling.
