Gulfood Green 2024 In Dubai: Spearheading Sustainable Food Industry Innovation
Launching in September, Gulfood Green aims to become the leading platform for global food industry leaders to promote sustainable innovation. The event will unite key players across the food ecosystem to explore advanced technologies, regulatory developments, and transformative practices shaping the future of food. The primary goal is to achieve sustainability in all aspects: from farming and supply chains to food production, improved nutrition, and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies like AI, blockchain, and smart agriculture.
From 24 to 26 September at Dubai World Trade Centre, Gulfood Green will gather the world's top companies, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. They will engage in critical discussions and showcase innovations driving the future of sustainable food systems.

The event will feature over 500 exhibiting companies from 50 countries including Thryve, Pure Harvest, Fresh Fruits Company, Yalla Yum, Al Bakrawe, Nice Tech, Banex, Barakat, Armela Farms. Additionally, 132 startups such as Livestock Labs, Niyog, Farm to Plate, Carob Way, FAZLA and Alphacath will share emerging concepts and products. Andrew Ive from Big Idea Ventures stated: "The UAE is emerging as a vital centre for growth and innovation in food, agriculture, and climate technologies. The Food for Future Summit promises valuable insights with over 90 world-class innovators participating. Notable speakers include Dr. Flávia Fayet-Moore of FOODiQ Global; Daniel Skavén Ruben; Dr. Vincent Walsh; Bjorn Oste; Andrew Ive; Sharon Cittone; Rohan Shirwaiker; Genevieve Leveille among others.
The Green Shoots Startup Pitch Competition will spotlight innovative startups in sustainable food and agriculture sectors. Supported by the UAE Ministry of Economy, it offers start-ups a chance to pitch to VCs and industry leaders with a USD 50,000 prize fund available. The competition includes panel sessions and workshops over three days.
