Global Visitors Experience Hira Cultural District's Rich Heritage In Makkah

In a significant cultural event, a group of 250 international guests from 16 different countries had the privilege of exploring the Hira Cultural District in Makkah, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit in 2024. This visit, which took place yesterday, was meticulously organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, offering participants a unique insight into the rich Islamic heritage.

The highlight of their visit was the Revelation Exhibition, a meticulously curated display that included models of the Cave of Hira. This exhibition utilized advanced technology to narrate the profound story of Prophet Mohammed's revelation, providing guests with an immersive experience into this pivotal moment in Islamic history. The exhibition's scientific content and use of modern technologies were particularly lauded by the visitors.

Hira District Welcomes Global Guests

Beyond the exhibition, guests were treated to a broader exploration of the Hira Cultural District. This included engaging in winter activities and embarking on a historical journey that deepened their understanding and appreciation of Islamic culture. The visit was not only an educational experience but also an opportunity for cultural exchange among participants from diverse backgrounds.

The feedback from the guests was overwhelmingly positive. They expressed their gratitude towards the Kingdom for its dedication to enriching the religious and cultural experiences of its visitors. The accurate representation of Prophet Mohammed's revelation story at the exhibition and the seamless organization of such faith-based visits were particularly commended.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to promote cultural understanding and religious tourism. By facilitating such visits, the Kingdom aims to share its heritage with the world and provide meaningful experiences for those looking to explore Islamic history and culture.
