Greece To Host Second Edition Of Investopia Global – Mediterranean In 2026

The first Investopia Global – Mediterranean event in Cyprus saw participation from leaders, ministers, and experts from the UAE, Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, and Europe. Following its success, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, along with Olga Kefalogianni, Greek Minister of Tourism, announced the second edition to be held in Greece next year.

The upcoming event aims to bolster partnerships in key sectors like tourism, innovation, entrepreneurship, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and food security. This initiative is part of Investopia's strategy to expand its global influence and enhance its presence on both regional and international platforms. The event will be organised with several ministries and government bodies from the UAE and Greece.

Bin Touq highlighted the historical and strategic relations between the UAE and Greece. These ties are particularly strong in economic and investment sectors due to support from both countries' leadership. The UAE is eager to continue fostering cooperation with Greece in advanced economic areas.

"The countries of the Mediterranean region enjoy significant momentum from competitive economic components," said Bin Touq. He mentioned promising opportunities in tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship, technology, AI, logistics, healthcare, and renewable energy. The second edition aims to connect business communities with these future sectors.

Olga Kefalogianni noted that Greece and the UAE have vibrant economic relations built on sustainable partnerships. Hosting Investopia Mediterranean in Greece underscores the strength of their economic ties. She believes this event will boost collaboration between business communities in both nations.

Global Expansion of Investopia

Investopia has successfully organised four flagship conferences in the UAE since its inception. It has also hosted 16 global editions worldwide. These events attracted over 10,000 participants including leaders, experts, investors, specialists, and entrepreneurs globally.

The conferences aim to shape a sustainable economic future by enhancing the UAE's position as a leading global investment destination. They focus on creating meaningful partnerships in sectors like FinTech, space technologies, AI, green energy, circular economy, and fashion.
