Devotees Throng Grand Mosque On Laylat Al-Qadr, Embrace Spirituality

On a serene night during Ramadan, the Grand Mosque in Makkah became a focal point for worshippers worldwide, gathering in anticipation of Laylat Al-Qadr (Night of Power). This significant occasion was marked by an overwhelming sense of spirituality, tranquility, and security, enveloping every individual present. From the break of dawn, the mosque welcomed an influx of worshippers and Umrah performers, filling its interiors and expansive courtyards.

The Saudi government played a pivotal role in facilitating this spiritual journey, ensuring that every aspect of the worship experience was catered to with utmost care. The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque took charge, implementing several measures to enhance the capacity for Tawaf and making Quran copies available in various languages. The focus on maintaining cleanliness, efficient ventilation, and air conditioning within the mosque premises was evident.

To further aid the movement of worshippers within the mosque's vast area, 5000 golf carts were made accessible through the "Tanaqol" app. This initiative significantly eased the flow of movement, allowing for a smoother entry and exit process. Additionally, intensified disinfection efforts were in place, with supervisors strategically positioned at entrances to guide worshippers effectively. These meticulous arrangements ensured that everyone could access prayer areas safely and maintain their focus on the rituals.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's dedication to serving those who visit the Grand Mosque for Umrah or to perform other rituals was clearly demonstrated through these comprehensive efforts. By providing a comfortable and secure environment, the Kingdom reaffirms its commitment to facilitating a fulfilling spiritual experience for all worshippers.
