GOSI Showcases Innovative Services And Strategic Transformations At Regional Social Security Forum
The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has launched its exhibition alongside the Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific, running from December 3-5. This event showcases GOSI's strategic changes and innovative insurance products, aiming to redefine social insurance's future by making services more accessible and inclusive. Visitors engaged with interactive presentations led by GOSI representatives, who demonstrated advanced technologies and services.
Attendees praised the innovative services on display, noting their role in providing seamless user experiences. Through various pavilions, the exhibition took participants on a journey through GOSI's key milestones and achievements. Interactive screens displayed detailed statistics and dynamic infographics, offering insights into GOSI’s initiatives to enhance clients' quality of life.

Visitors were introduced to GOSI’s new services, including digital human "Ameen," the Capital Virtual Visit service, the comprehensive GOSI smartphone app, and the "Kashef" tool designed to detect insurance fraud. The open data platform was also showcased, offering an intuitive visualization of social insurance data and related statistics, simplifying understanding of Saudi Arabia's social insurance landscape.
The exhibition featured interactive screens illustrating different life phases such as being a student, employee, parent, and retiree. These screens highlighted GOSI’s role at each stage. Visitors could select scenarios to learn about specific services available during each phase of life. An interactive quiz game allowed them to explore different life paths and options, revealing potential benefits of using GOSI’s services.
On the forum's second day, panel discussions under the theme "Transformation and Innovation: the Power of Social Security Institutions" took place. A panel titled "Strengthening Social Security through Institutional Transformation and Innovation" explored institutions' roles in expanding coverage, ensuring financial sustainability, fostering resilience, and delivering high-quality services in a changing world.
A session called "Practical Approaches to Excellence in Social Security Administration" discussed enhancing efficiency in social security laws. Topics included improving productivity in employment protection, expanding social security coverage, and investing funds for sustainability. The day ended with a public session titled "Transformation and Innovation -- Key Success Factors," highlighting elements driving social security institutions' success amid global changes.
Focus on Comprehensive Coverage
The forum’s final day will concentrate on "Ensuring Social Security Coverage for All Workers." Panel discussions will cover topics like "Adapting Social Security Systems to Meet Ageing Societies' Needs," and "Resilience and Transitions: Optimizing Positive Impact of Social Security." A high-level panel featuring International Social Security Association (ISSA) President Dr. Mohammed Azman will include other leading figures in insurance protection.
By hosting this forum, GOSI aims to highlight Saudi Arabia’s expertise in social insurance while fostering experience exchange. It seeks to contribute to developing innovative solutions addressing regional and global challenges facing social insurance ecosystems.
