Golf Stars Set For Thrilling Showdown In Aramco Team Series Final Round In Riyadh

A thrilling conclusion to the Aramco Team Series, presented by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is set to unfold at the Riyadh Golf Club from October 31 to November 2. Top global golf stars, including Britain's Charley Hull and Georgia Hall, America's Alison Lee, and Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit, are preparing for this prestigious event. Organised by Golf Saudi, the tournament promises exceptional performances as these athletes aim to leave their mark.

Charley Hull is eager for a strong finish in the 2024 season. She will compete against major title-holder Georgia Hall in the series. Both players represented Team Europe in the 2024 Solheim Cup and were part of Team GB and the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic Team in Paris. Hull has consistently performed well in the Aramco Team Series, achieving top-10 finishes in nine out of ten appearances, including a win in New York in 2021.

Golf Stars Compete in Aramco Team Series Final

Since professional women's golf began in Saudi Arabia in 2020, Hull has participated in eight tournaments there, including the Aramco Team Series and Aramco Saudi Ladies International. As a Golf Saudi ambassador this year, she praised the sport's growth in the Kingdom. Hull commended Golf Saudi's efforts to inspire women and girls to participate more actively in golf. "The legacy they are creating is one I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of," she stated.

Georgia Hall has also shown her skill by leading her team to victory at the Aramco Team Series 2023 in London and winning at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International held in Jeddah in 2022. The final round of this series will feature a format loved by both players and fans, with 28 teams competing over three days.

The grand finale will include a vibrant fan zone where spectators can engage with Go Golf, an initiative by Golf Saudi aimed at making golf accessible and enjoyable for all ages. Fans can hone their skills with expert tips or start learning from scratch while enjoying the excitement of live games.

Hull expressed her enthusiasm about competing in Riyadh after securing second place finishes in Tampa and Korea. She feels she's at her best form now and is keen to convert close opportunities into victories. Her journey through the Aramco Team Series has been remarkable, with consistent top finishes highlighting her talent.

This event marks another chapter for women's golf since its introduction to Saudi Arabia. The growth witnessed since then reflects significant strides made by organisations like Golf Saudi towards promoting inclusivity within sports.

The upcoming competition promises not only thrilling matches but also an engaging experience for fans attending it live at Riyadh Golf Club.
