Globe Soccer Awards 2025 Nominees Announced As Public Voting Opens In Dubai
Public voting has commenced for the 16th Globe Soccer Awards, with the ceremony set for 28th December at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai. This year, there are approximately 15 categories, nine of which are open to public voting until 27th November. A second voting phase will occur from 3rd to 11th December, combining public votes and expert opinions to decide the winners.
The public can vote in categories like Best Player, Best Women’s Player, Best Men’s Club, and others. Paris Saint-Germain leads with nominations after a successful season, winning several major titles. Eight of their players are nominated for Best Player, with others competing in different categories. The Best Player list features stars such as Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé, and Mohamed Salah.

In the women’s section, Barcelona's Aitana Bonmatí aims for her third consecutive Best Women’s Player award. The list includes her teammates and five players from England’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2025-winning team. Arsenal is among seven clubs vying for Best Women’s Club after their UEFA Women’s Champions League victory.
The Best Men’s Club category includes teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool. Notable coaches nominated include Luis Enrique of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea's Enzo Maresca. Other contenders are Antonio Conte from Napoli and Mikel Arteta from Arsenal.
Cristiano Ronaldo is among those nominated for the Best Middle East Player award. He competes against notable players such as Salem Al Dawsari and Karim Benzema. The awards aim to recognise outstanding talent across various football domains.

Alongside the Globe Soccer Awards, LaLiga will present its 2024–2025 season awards. Raphinha is named Best Player while Hansi Flick receives the Best Coach accolade. Lamine Yamal is recognised as Best Emerging Player with Luka Sučić earning Best Goal and Jan Oblak securing Best Save.
Tommaso Bendoni, CEO of Globe Soccer, expressed his pleasure at Dubai hosting this prestigious event again. He highlighted Dubai's role as a key venue for international sports events. Bendoni emphasised that this year will celebrate football's top talents once more.
