Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 To Host Cultural Dinner Honouring Distinguished Guests At Al Shindagha

The Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 is set for 26-27 November at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The event will host over 250 global speakers from 65 countries, including more than 25 ministers and over 4,000 influential figures. The forum aims to advance women's empowerment and gender balance globally, aligning with the UAE's commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

A cultural dinner will be held on 26 November at Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood. This exclusive event is organised by the Dubai Women Establishment in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. It aims to honour distinguished guests such as First Ladies, leaders, and international partners while showcasing Dubai’s rich cultural heritage.

The dinner will offer a unique experience that blends history and art. Guests will enjoy an art exhibition featuring Emirati female artists' creative works. Paintings will vividly depict Dubai’s history and cultural essence, providing a visual narrative of the city’s journey. This initiative highlights culture as a bridge for fostering dialogue between nations.

Attendees will also have a guided tour of Al Shindagha, focusing on the city’s cultural and historical journey. Fatima Behzad from the organising committee described Al Shindagha as a symbol of Dubai’s origins and aspirations. She emphasised that the event offers insights into the city’s rich history through inspiring stories and cultural experiences.

Behzad highlighted Dubai's dedication to preserving traditions while using culture to foster dialogue for a brighter future. This theme aligns with the forum's discussions on shaping future societies through cultural engagement. The event underscores Dubai's role in promoting global collaboration and partnerships.

The forum's theme, 'The Power of Influence', will guide discussions across three key pillars: Future Economies and Societies, Collective Engagements and Actions, and Impactful Technologies and Innovations. These sessions aim to create actionable strategies for advancing gender equality worldwide.
