Enhancing Water Security: A Pillar For Global Stability And Prosperity, Al Dahak Advocates
On the occasion of World Water Day, observed every year on 22nd March, Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, the UAE Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, underscored the critical importance of bolstering water security to ensure global stability and foster socio-economic prosperity. In her address, Dr. Al Dahak highlighted the intrinsic value of water as the essence of life, pivotal in enabling societies to flourish and civilizations to advance towards prosperity.
Dr. Al Dahak pointed out the pressing challenges posed by water scarcity, a dilemma that threatens to affect half of the global population by 2025. She emphasized that this year's World Water Day theme, ‘Water for Peace’, calls for immediate action to devise sustainable solutions for water-related issues, particularly in regions most vulnerable to scarcity, to maintain global peace and stability.

Dr. Al Dahak lauded His Highness's significant contributions towards fostering international cooperation in this domain.
