Global Village Season 29 Opens Gates Today With New Pavilions And Entertainment Options
Global Village, a top destination for multicultural family experiences in the region, opens its doors today for Season 29. The opening ceremony at 6:00 pm promises an exciting performance with surprises to captivate visitors. As a key event on Dubai's annual calendar, Global Village plays a vital role in cultural and community initiatives, offering significant activations and performances.
The current season runs until 11th May 2025 and aims to break previous records. With 30 pavilions showcasing over 90 cultures from various countries, it features more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 dining options. Guests can enjoy more than 40,000 shows and over 200 rides, games, and attractions designed to enhance their experience.

This season introduces three new pavilions: 'Jordan', 'Iraq', and 'Sri Lanka & Bangladesh'. These pavilions allow guests to explore rich cultures, traditions, culinary delights, and unique shopping items from these nations. The addition of these pavilions enriches the cultural tapestry of Global Village.
A standout feature this year is the introduction of spacious green promenades with extended seating areas throughout the park. These promenades provide a perfect setting for families and friends to relax while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Global Village.
Global Village offers over 250 dining options this season. The new Restaurant Plaza features 11 double-story restaurants showcasing global cuisines. Located near the Carnaval® fun-fair area, it overlooks a centre-stage hosting live shows. Fiesta Street has transformed with double-story kiosks adding vibrancy to the area.
The Floating Market and Railway Market have undergone stunning upgrades with fresh themes enhancing dining attractions. These creative designs offer endless photo opportunities for visitors seeking Instagrammable moments during their visit.
Entertainment Highlights
Entertainment at Global Village includes over 40,000 shows featuring world-class performers, beloved characters, concerts, and street performances. A highlight is the Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show with gravity-defying stunts that thrill audiences. The Main Stage hosts international acts like Urban Crew and AAINJAA alongside bespoke shows by the Global Village Entertainment team.
For younger guests, Kids Theatre presents engaging performances from The Wonderers, PJ Masks, Peter Rabbit, and Octonauts. A new addition is a 3D projection inside the exit dome of the Gate of the World enhancing entertainment activities at the destination.

Exo City Planet is set to open soon introducing exciting experiences for families. Additionally, Dragon Lake returns with an impressive dragon twice last year's size enchanting guests in Global Village's heart along with regular laser and fire shows.
Visitor Information
Global Village ensures an exceptional guest experience by improving services across parking zones and prominently displaying directional signs inside and outside the park. Ticket options cater to diverse preferences; Weekday tickets are valid Sunday through Thursday (excluding public holidays), while Any Day tickets allow visits any day including public holidays.
Tuesday remains family-and-ladies-only day except during public holidays. Tickets are available on Global Village's official website or mobile app or at gate ticketing counters priced at AED30 for Any Day tickets or AED25 for Weekday tickets.
