Global Sustainability Summit Introduces Professional Diploma And Content Creator Academy For Climate Action

SEE Institute has launched the SEE Global Sustainability Summit in partnership with the Ministry of Education. This event, held at the region's first net zero emissions building in The Sustainable City, brings together global climate leaders. The summit began with the introduction of two significant initiatives aimed at transforming climate education and awareness.

The first initiative is a Professional Diploma Program designed to fast-track academic pathways for sustainability professionals. It integrates applied AI with essential sustainability themes like energy, food, water, waste, and the built environment. Accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), this diploma also offers a path toward Master’s-level qualifications.

Sustainability Summit Launches New Initiatives

Alongside this, Olive Green Academy (OGA) was introduced as the region’s first platform dedicated to sustainability and AI-focused content creators. Co-founded by Miss Earth 2022 titleholder Nadeen Ayoub, OGA provides storytellers with tools to inspire climate action through engaging AI-driven narratives.

Nadeen Ayoub highlighted the importance of creators in driving sustainability: "We believe creators have the potential to spark meaningful climate action far beyond traditional storytelling. Today marks the launch of our specialized courses, designed to provide them with strategic insights into sustainability and AI. But this is only the start, OGA has an exciting roadmap of initiatives tailored to diverse age groups and interests, which we look forward to unveiling throughout the year."

The summit's opening session featured a keynote speech by Eng. Faris Saeed, Founder and Chairman of SEE Institute. He emphasized their mission: "At SEE Institute, we carry a profound responsibility to share over two decades of accumulated sustainability knowledge through our comprehensive 360-degree approach. This holistic strategy begins with our Living Lab empowering R&D, extends into classrooms, cultivates innovation through incubation, educates future generations, and amplifies powerful narratives to ensure our message resonates globally."

This two-day summit includes high-level discussions, international speakers, a youth-led sustainability hackathon, and interactive exhibitions that merge science, technology, and art. As climate urgency intensifies, SEE Institute remains committed to promoting practical sustainability solutions through education and collaboration.

SEE Institute continues its dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration for a sustainable future. By integrating education with real-world applications and creative storytelling, they aim to contribute actively towards building a resilient global community.
