Global Nursing Award 2025 In Dubai: Grand Jury Appointed To Recognise Nursing Excellence
Aster DM Healthcare, a leading provider of integrated healthcare services in the GCC and India, has announced the Grand Jury for the 2025 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award.
This year's panel includes eminent figures from the healthcare sector: Prof. Sheila Tlou, renowned for her work in HIV prevention in Botswana; Prof. James Buchan, an expert in health workforce policy; Dr. Peter Carter, recognised for his leadership in nursing and healthcare in the UK; Dr. Niti Pall, a pioneer in global healthcare innovation; and Vishal Bali, a veteran in healthcare management and strategy.

The 2025 edition of the award has attracted unprecedented attention, with over 100,000 nurses from 199 countries registering their interest. This reflects the award's growing impact and prestige within the global nursing community.

One of these outstanding nurses will win the prestigious award, accompanied by a prize fund of $250,000."
Vishal Bali, with his extensive experience in healthcare leadership and his commitment to improving patient care, is the latest addition to the Grand Jury. His inclusion is expected to bring a fresh perspective and further enhance the award's credibility. Bali expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, praising the role of nursing in healthcare and the importance of recognising their contributions through the award.
Prof. Sheila Tlou, who has played a vital role in shaping healthcare policies and education in Botswana, reiterated the significance of the award in acknowledging the exceptional work of nurses globally. To ensure the integrity and impartiality of the selection process, Aster DM Healthcare has engaged Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as 'Process Advisors'. EY will independently review the applications, oversee the evaluation by an independent panel of experts, and assist the Grand Jury in choosing the deserving winner.
