Global Labor Leaders Convene In Riyadh For Second Labor Market Conference Addressing Key Challenges
Riyadh is preparing to host the second Global Labor Market Conference, drawing 45 labor ministers, international organization leaders, 200 speakers, and over 5,000 attendees from more than 100 countries. This two-day event will feature a ministerial roundtable for labor ministers, agreement signings, and an exhibition showcasing key projects by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development that have gained recognition locally and internationally.
The conference will focus on innovative solutions and best practices to tackle major labor market challenges. It aims to develop sustainable skills to adapt to rapid changes, explore productivity enhancement strategies, and address youth-related issues. The event will also highlight the importance of green jobs in promoting a fair and sustainable economy globally.

Meetings between government representatives, private sector leaders, and international labor organizations are scheduled. Over 50 specialized dialogue sessions will be organized with partners like the International Labour Organization, World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and Misk Foundation. This collaboration enriches discussions and enhances the event's recommendations.
The role of small businesses and new work models in creating innovative job opportunities will be discussed. These discussions aim to support economic growth and improve global labor market competitiveness. The conference seeks ways to unlock the potential of youth while examining challenges they face in today's dynamic environment.
