Global Health Exhibition 2025 Ends With Record SAR133 Billion In Health Investments And Partnerships
The Global Health Exhibition 2025, themed "Invest in Health," concluded in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event, supported by the Ministry of Health and the Health Sector Transformation Program, resulted in agreements and investments exceeding SAR133 billion. This highlights Saudi Arabia's rapidly expanding healthcare sector, which is becoming increasingly appealing to global investors and innovators.
Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development Abdulaziz AlRamaih stated that the exhibition is the fastest-growing healthcare event worldwide for the second year in a row. He highlighted the exceptional quality of this year's edition, which attracted significant interest from both local and international investors and healthcare leaders.

The event witnessed a remarkable increase in agreements and partnerships within the private sector, with their value rising sixfold compared to last year. Notable investments included SAR31 billion allocated for hospital infrastructure and healthcare services. Additionally, over SAR12 billion was directed towards venture capital and strategic investment funds.
Strategic partnerships were also announced in digital health between HUMAIN, Lean, and Google Cloud. These collaborations emphasize Saudi Arabia's swift progress in developing a world-class digital healthcare system. The Kingdom aims to enhance its healthcare infrastructure through these strategic alliances.
The exhibition attracted more than 130,000 visitors and featured over 2,200 exhibitors. International visitor numbers increased by 54% compared to the previous year. Over 300 international speakers participated, showcasing Saudi Arabia's ability to host large-scale events with high-quality content.
The final day's sessions focused on future health systems innovation. Discussions revolved around "value-based care" and "modern health technologies." Speakers stressed that value in healthcare includes not only costs but also equitable access and quality of life improvements.
Vision 2030: Transforming Healthcare
The transformation of Saudi Arabia's healthcare system is part of Vision 2030. This initiative aims to improve access to quality healthcare while ensuring fairness across the board. The exhibition underscored these goals by bringing together leaders to discuss innovative solutions for future health challenges.
Abdulaziz AlRamaih noted that the high-level participation of over 600 speakers and CEOs demonstrated Saudi Arabia's capability to combine scale with quality. This solidifies the event as a premier destination in the global healthcare sector.
Investments also targeted nearly SAR2.3 billion towards the life sciences sector. This reflects a commitment to advancing medical research and development within Saudi Arabia's growing healthcare landscape.
