Global Health Exhibition 2024 Begins Tomorrow In Riyadh With Key Healthcare Innovations

The Global Health Exhibition's seventh edition is set to commence at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. This event is under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program. Organised by Tahaluf Company, it involves a strategic partnership with the Saudi Arabian Federation for Cybersecurity and Programming (SAFCSP), Informa PLC, and the National Development Fund (NDF).

On its first day, the exhibition will host sessions on diverse topics. These include strategies and investment portfolios, global biotechnology, healthcare market analysis, ambient sound technology, and a generative AI program at the National Health Services Commission. Additionally, an AI program for lung cancer detection will be discussed alongside methods to improve diagnostic accuracy while minimising clinical errors.

A notable lineup of speakers will grace the event. Among them are Dr. Kedar Mate, President and CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement; Dr. Jacob Sands, a Thoracic Oncologist and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School; Dr. Raees Lunat, Chief Medical Information Officer at NHS; Prof. Hatim Abdulhussein, CEO of Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex; and Dr. Ziad Nakshabandi from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Visitors can access the exhibition through Al-Saqr Gate on Riyadh-Qassim Road as per instructions from relevant authorities. To facilitate transportation, over 80 free shuttle buses will operate between two gathering points: Hilton Garden Inn parking lot and Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU). Buses will depart for the exhibition from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with return trips from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The exhibition will also feature over 80 golf carts to transport visitors directly to entrances while increasing parking capacity. An official exhibition app will enhance visitor experience by allowing attendees to browse sessions, daily agendas, and speaker lists.
