The organization, announced by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in September 2023, is slated to be headquartered in Riyadh. It aims to amalgamate and enhance the efforts of nations and organizations in addressing water challenges comprehensively.

Mission and Objectives

The Global Water Organization aims to achieve its goals through the exchange and augmentation of technical expertise, innovation, research and development. It also focuses on facilitating the establishment and financing of priority projects to ensure the sustainability of water resources and improve universal access.
